Sharing Life Community Outreach, Inc. is an organization which effectively and efficiently provides benevolent support for those individuals and families in crisis living in Mesquite and Southeast Dallas County, Texas.

In just a few short weeks, the eighth annual Sharing Life Charity Golf Classic will be held at Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Rockwall, Texas. Mark your calendar now for Friday, September 17, 2010. The Florida scramble tournament will begin at 1:00 PM with a shotgun start This event is our biggest fundraiser of the year providing revenue to support the important body of work at Sharing Life Community Outreach.
Historically, The Sharing Life Charity Golf Classic has been a stellar event. We plan to outshine the tournaments of the past with the upcoming 2010 event. The tournament offers the golfers the opportunity to join others in a fun round of golf on a great course while competing for wonderful prizes awarded to the top golfers and those skilled enough to sink a hole-in-one. In addition, each player will receive lunch, dinner, and one of our much praised "goody bags" which included items with a value in excess of $50.00.
For this year's tournament to succeed and excel, we need your help. We need businesses and individuals to provide sponsorships of various levels. The different sponsorship levels are described on the attached brochure. We are also soliciting items for the silent auction and raffle held during dinner at the completion of the tournament. All donations are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law. These sponsorships and silent auction/raffle proceeds offset the costs of the tournament allowing the charity to receive the maximum benefit.
Sharing Life Community Outreach does an important work in our community. In 2009, we assisted more than 35,000 individuals with basic needs such as food, clothing, diapers, formula, school supplies and household items. In addition, we provided commodities to senior citizens and computer training for clients looking to better their skills and obtain living wage employment. In 2009, Sharing Life offered caseworker programs including on site application assistance for Food Stamps, Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Part D, CHIP and Parkland Plus. These programs are vital to our clients and having on site assistance has made them successful in obtaining these benefits.
